Strong Body Strong Mind online course – Back to Basics

There are many things in life that we know we should do but somehow we don’t always get around to or aren’t consistent with – eating more green veggies, moving more regularly, getting stronger, creating an environment that supports a positive mindset through our habits and daily routines etc. However, these basics that we can intellectualise and agree on are sometimes hard to shift from the ‘knowing’ to the ‘doing’. We supply ourselves with an endless list of excuses and justifications for not being able to realise our goals or stick to them. We can become consumed by the idea of what our future plan is for tomorrow or next week and never get around to it as another thought goes to the top of the ‘to do ‘ list.

When I created the See&Do project the aim was to find ways to inspire, connect and educate so that people would then feel empowered to ‘do’, to make changes, be active, strong, brave and face their fears in the pursuit of self-improvement. The ‘See’ part was relatively straight forward, (I have a visual arts background). I’ve taken and shared lots of photos, videos and stories and will continue to do so. As psychology tells us, if we see it we can be it. Figuring out the ‘DO’ has been more of a challenge.

There are so many different ways that we can ‘DO’, train and learn. I believe that at the end of the day nobody is re-inventing the wheel when it comes to the many really cool movement systems and life coaching approaches that have value. Finding what speaks to you in terms of it’s style can be very personal. I know that for me going to a big shouty boot camp style workout makes me want to tell everyone to F**k off, but for others that maybe exactly what works for them. However, the one thing I’ve heard pretty much consistently across many of the movement worlds that I’ve dipped my toe into is that you can never do too much of the basics. If in doubt go back to basics.

So, where to start?

How to start?

I decided the best way to share the knowledge I had benefitted from in my own movement story was to create content online. As much as I love travelling and am now teaching and delivering workshops it still wasn’t accessible to many people. I thought long and hard about what this would look like.

Movement is an emotional journey so it wasn’t going to be a course just about exercises, there needed to be a way to inform and guide people through the inner work as well as the outer physical one.
It had to be body and mind.

I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with two amazing coaches to put together a beginner level course, STRONG BODY STRONG MIND,  that does just that. MaryBeth Gangemi from Kairos Strong and Sandra Vesterstein from Bennett Stellar University. As it’s the first time I’ve put a course together I wanted to concentrate on having the overall picture as well as getting familiar with all the tech. You will see me in future content but for now these inspiring and knowledgeable coaches will take care of you. You’re in good hands, I know because I’ve gone through the course and train all of it’s content constantly. It works.

Together they will teach you how to improve your movements, think more positively and become stronger.

The course has over 3 hours of video lessons, additional resources, fun sheets, bonus videos and a private Facebook group to support people through their journey.

The Strong Body Strong Mind is a course you’ll wish you’d done years ago. The combined knowledge in the course, is the result of decades worth of learning that has been channelled into an accessible and easy to follow step by step programme, that not only teaches you methods of how to reconnect with your body and move better, but also to think with more clarity and positivity and how to implement all of these skills into your everyday life. With a strong body and a strong mind you will move through the world in a way that is happy, healthy and safe.

If…

  • You’re interested in improving your mind and body to benefit your health and feel more connected.
  • You don’t want to continue with your current status quo of how you feel, but don’t know where to start.

  • You know that you want to, and should feel better than you currently do.
  • You’re ready to face the challenges that creating change can bring.
  • You’re interested in progress not perfection. Perfection isn’t real.
